My short book How to Get Writing…Fast, is out now, and you can get it on Amazon.
Those who’ve followed my blog a while will know I periodically publish stuff on how to write – how to’s, handy tips and hints, that sort of thing. What I haven’t explained is that it’s all consistently based on a specific approach – which includes deconstructing the writing elephant into manageable pieces and then tackling them, one at a time. That’s easier said than done, of course, because you need to first know what those pieces are.
My book tells you. It outlines an approach to the basics of writing, and shows what writing actually is and means – all fairly briefly, so you can pick up the essentials fast. It’s designed to kick-start you on the way to learning how to write, and get you writing – right now.
Kind of handy, given that National November Writing Month is only a few weeks off.
The book’s based on my thirty-odd years professionally writing and working in the publishing business. It includes short chapters on the four stages of writing competence, on writing style, on what constitutes editing, and on publishing among other things.
You can get it right now on Kindle. Go on – you know you want to.
