  1. I left angrily, not bothering to put on my jacket and not caring about the chilly night air. A sudden blast of cold air swirled around me at the same time I saw the gun pointed directly at me. Frozen in place, I rubbed my arms, chasing away the horripilation all over them and hoping the man would fade away with them.
