The obscure word of the week is antiphony

look_it_up_T httpwww.clipartpal.comclipart_pdeducationdictionary_10586.htmlThis week’s obscure English word is antiphony.

In music, antiphony refers to one musical sound ‘answering’ another, perhaps during a choral piece. But the word can also mean any sound or echo, or sometimes sounds in opposition.

Your challenge: write a sentence or two in the comments using this word.

    1. That style of music is truly wonderful to listen to – very cool to be able to sing it! (I can’t sing – I spent years and years learning music itself, mostly keyboard… singing… let’s say it was just better I didn’t…)
