This week’s obscure English word is canst.
It is actually not so obscure – it’s the word ‘can’, in its second-person, present tense form. It’s archaic these days and not used – we don’t say ‘thou canst’, but ‘you can’.
Your challenge: write a sentence or two in the comments using this word.

Thou canst say “You can,” but thou canst not say “You canst.” Thinking about it, “canst” is hard to pronounce; no wonder it’s fallen from use!
