This week’s obscure English word – well, in this case, a term – is blatherskite.
It’s a slang term that means somebody who talks at great length without making sense.
Your challenge: write a sentence or two in the comments using this word.

The word of the day, today, according to you is blatherskite. Jabberwocky, gibberish, or windbag, it’s all the same to me, meaning politics. A game they play!

This is the first time I have ever heard this word. I’m sure my husband would love to use this word about me, so I’m not going to tell him :).

I’ve known a few blatherskites in my time. I was in a (virtual) meeting with one just the other day.
