This week’s obscure English word is farcer. It is sometimes spelt farceur. It is from old French and means somebody who is skilled at joking – as in, creating farces.
Your challenge: write a sentence or two in the comments using this word.

Marcel Duchamp, the artist who famously submitted an upside-down urinal signed “R. Mutt” to the Salons des Independents for exhibition, did it as a joke. The man was definitely a farcer.
